Youth Convention 2011

We had a great time at Youth Convention. Good food, fellowship and worship.

There are many things that go on when we all get together to visit... One being:

Who can jump high enough to touch the ceiling?

This is Jon, showing how it's done.

Bro. Dustin and his companion... I'm sure this was a serious conversation...

The VLB March on Saturday night.
We were happy to have the Hornes surprise us this night...

Just in time to join in the march.

Our Youth.

There is nothing more sweet than to see little children

crying and pouring their hearts out to God.

Isn't this the sweetest thing you have ever seen?

Complete sincerity.
Friends, siblings and cousins all praying for each other.
I love to see this.
What do you get when you have a cluster of kids,

crying and snotin' all over the place???

A pile of tissues!

And more tissues....
And ever more tissues...
Then we have Sam, who says,

"They're going to make a pool up there".

Now some pictures of our fellowship with friends.

Philip with Bro. Clarkson.

Sara and Bro. Hays.
A random group of good looking young people :0)
Sara and Bro. Clarkson.
Colin and I with our good friends, Keven and Michele.
It is hard to get the guys to behave

when they are together.

These guys are crazy!

I think this is the "K-Dog" sign.
Finally... Calm just for a few seconds.
It didn't last for long.

We laughed until we cried, just trying to

get a normal picture.

Ok... So, do they look related?

Sara and her Lewis parents.
Can you feel the love???
Philip and the Lewis'... Look at Keven,

he just can't keep his eyes off of Colin :-D
We had a fantastic weekend. Good preaching, singing and altar

time... Good food (as always) and good fellowship with

all of our friends and family.

  1. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for all the great pictures! It made me cry. But it's a GOOD cry. :-D The altar pictures of the children is so beautiful. Then there's Sam . . . we pray for Sam a lot. ;-) God must have something real special for Sam's life.
The pictures of you guys with Keven and Michele are great. So fun!
And Jon! Oh, my goodness! His hairline is really receding, isn't it? I'm amazed. I never would have thought it. But he can still jump higher than anybody, from a standstill. Whose house where those pictures taken at?
I sure miss everybody out there. It's such a BLESSING to get to see pictures of the functions I no longer get to attend. Thanks, again!
