Every year we start a Thankful Tree.
The first day of November we start adding
leaves with something we are thankful for.
Here is a close up of the leaves...
As you can see... The kids are
most thankful for the people in their lives.
The day before Thanksgiving the
baking begins.
the Pumpkin pies.
I guess.
Here are Sara's Apple pies.
But it somehow didn't make it on the Blog.
Here they are pouring the pumpkin into the
pie shells.
her Apple pies. This is what happens when the
pies run over in the oven... The smoke alarms go
off and you have to fan the alarm until it stops screaming.

food prepared, the guys decided to go shoot
each other in the back yard. Boys are weird.
They ran around shooting each other with the air
soft guns. Thankfully they are not very good
aims while running around.
She just looks good holding the gun.
In the Orange Tree.
They were safe on the porch.

much to be thankful for. God has been so good
to us this year. We even had Grandma Bunny with
us for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Usually
she doesn't come with us... We're too noisy for her :-)
This year we talked her into it and we really
enjoyed having her there.
The day after Thanksgiving is the day
to start decorating for Christmas.
Here are my little elf helpers.
As soon as we put the tree up he
curled up under it to go to sleep.

the lights outside. You know... No where but
Arizona can you get a sun burn while
hanging Christmas lights. HA!
We love the Christmas season around here.
And tomorrow Paul and Grace will be here,
from frozen Montana. We are so excited!
We are going to have an early Christmas
with them and lots of fun is planned
while they are here.
I hope to have more pictures by the
end of next week.
Paul and I both laughed at the pictures on this post. We are SO excited to be there tomorrow! Just pray we don't get snowed in.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the pictures--HOW FUN! They make me smile. And some of them make me laugh right out loud. Particularly the one of Philip showing off his pie muscles--both boys' expressions crack me up! Your kids are NUTS! Ha!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh! So much fun...enjoy the time with Paul and Grace! Looking forward to more pics.
