Tuesday we went to Home Depot to pick up the
car so the guys could go spend the day together.
When we got there it was time for Colin's lunch break.
The guys took off in the Camry and we took
Colin to lunch. Doesn't he look thrilled?
and chili cheese fries.
The night before we had a HORRIBLE wind
storm. A lot of the trees in these parking lots
didn't survive.
Then it was off to find the Krispy Kreme store
that we heard had opened up. We drove around the area where we heard
it might be... Nothing... Then we saw a guy getting some stuff out of his car so we stopped to ask him if he knew where it was. He was no help. After chatting with him for awhile we happened to notice what was on his shirt. No wonder he was no help... He was a fitness instructor for Pure Fitness... DUH... Why would he know where the fat-filled, deep-fried goodness was? After some more driving around... WE FOUND IT!!!
Isn't it beautiful?
We made him nervous.
Colin looked oh so thrilled or was he just not feeling grand?! Looks like you all had a wonderful day out...how do Tommy and Megan sleep like that?
ReplyDeleteColin had his mouth filled with chili cheese fries and he loves to have his picture taken, as you can tell.
ReplyDeleteBro Shuler looks so very excited .lol I am glad you all are having so much fun. You look very Happy :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah Krispy Kreme! Now you've made me hungry and will have to stop by ours on the way home!
ReplyDeleteColin's love for having his picture taken is equal to his love of hugs. LOL! You guys all look SOOOOOO HAPPY! Your glee is abundantly apparent. :-) I'm so happy you're having such a good time. And like any good Wilda, most of the fun involves food, have you noticed? HA! Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Krispy Kreme. Becki called me this evening all excited because she'd just finished eating hot Krispy Kreme donuts. THREE of them!! They just opened a store in Albuquerque, too. Not fair. We live in the south, where Krispy Kreme was born, but there's never been a store here in Cleveland. What's up with that???
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for keeping up with your blog during your special time together; it almost feels like we get to be a part of it.
Another great post! How much fun you're having!!! I am so happy for your Krispy Kreme glee. I can truly SHARE in that! :-) Your store wasn't nearly as crowded as ours. Good for you! Love the picture of the kids in front of the fountain--very cute. And of Tommy sleeping. What a weird-o!!! Ha!
